KAMAS, UT – A driver operated a stolen 2008 Toyota Tundra, struck a Summit County Sheriff’s vehicle, and then fled the wrong way on I-80 Thursday.
According to TownLift Park City News, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office received a call about the stolen Tundra.
Deputies later saw it on SR-40 and tried to stop the driver. However, the motorist did not stop. They kept going on the roundabout and hit the deputy’s vehicle, and then drove eastbound on the westbound lanes of I-80.
Officials later recovered the stolen vehicle but have yet to locate the suspect.
No injuries were reported in this incident.
