Driver killed in head-on collision with semi-truck in Green River

GREEN RIVER, UT – A man was killed early Saturday when his vehicle slammed head-on into a semi-truck near Green River, according to ABC 4.

The crash took place at about 6:20 a.m. on US-6 near the I-70 transition ramp.

Troopers say the driver of a black passenger vehicle was heading east on the highway when the vehicle drifted into the oncoming lanes and collided with the semi.

The driver of the black vehicle died at the scene. The semi-truck’s driver did not suffer any injuries.
