Driver injured after semi-truck rollover crash on I-80 ramp in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE COUNTY, UT – One was injured after a semi-truck overturned in Salt Lake City Wednesday, KSLTV reported. 

The collision occurred on the I-80 ramp going to I-215. The semi-truck spilled tar onto the interstate after flipping over. As a result, the driver was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries. 

No other vehicles appeared to be involved. It is unclear what led to the crash. 

At the time of reporting, the ramp was closed for crash clearance.
