Driver hospitalized after truck fire on I-84 in Morgan Co.

MORGAN CO. UT – A truck driver escaped with minimal injuries after his vehicle went up in flames in Morgan County on Wednesday evening.

According to a report by KSL, the fire occurred at the eastbound offramp of I-84 at mile marker 103 at around 7:49 p.m. According to a Facebook post from Morgan County Fire & EMS, the truck was fullyinvolved in flames by the time firefighters arrived on the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was able to escape unharmed, despite both the tractor and trailer being consumed by the fire. Fire officials reported that the off-ramp was closed for several hours while firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.

At this time, it is unclear what caused the fire. However, authorities are investigating the incident.
