Cyclist critically hurt in crash with SUV in Salt Lake City 

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – A cyclist was left in critical condition after getting hit by an SUV driver at the East Sunnyside Avenue and Guardsman Way junction Thursday. 

According to KSL TV, this collision took place at 8:30 a.m. As of now, the area is still blocked off, so drivers may want to consider alternative routes. 

Salt Lake City Police are investigating the cause of this collision and have not released additional information at this time.
