Crossing guard hospitalized after hit-and-run crash in Ogden

OGDEN, UT – A crossing guard was injured after being hit by an unspecified southbound vehicle before 7 a.m. Tuesday. 

The collision occurred at Harrop Street and Monroe Boulevard, according to Gephardt Daily. The crossing guard was getting ready for her shift when she was struck by a car. 

The driver of that vehicle did not render aid and fled the scene. 

No children were present or hurt in this incident. 

The crossing guard was taken to a hospital for her injuries and is expected to survive.
