Crash with elk reported along I-80 in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – First responders were called to a crash involving an elk along I-80 Thursday.

The collision occurred above Foothill Drive, according to KSL TV. The driver was unharmed, but two elk were struck and succumbed to fatal injuries.
