Boy, 16, killed in Juab Co. rollover crash on Weiss Hwy

JUAB COUNTY, UT – Speeding could have been a contributing factor in a fatal rollover crash in Juab County Saturday.

The single-vehicle collision occurred around 11 a.m. on Weiss Highway, according to FOX 13 Now

The driver of the car was driving at a high rate. He approached the turn and lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the car drifted off the road and overturned.

Three passengers, teenage boys between 15 and 18, did not wear their seatbelts and were thrown from the car. The driver wore his seatbelt and was not ejected.

Two of the boys were hospitalized for unspecified injuries, and one succumbed to fatal injuries.

It is unclear if the fourth occupant was affected.
