At least 1 airlifted from serious crash on US-6 in Utah Co.

UTAH CO., UT – A multi-vehicle crash in Utah County this afternoon left at least one person seriously injured.

According to KSL, the collision occurred at about 1:15 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the highway, between Sheep Creek Road and the Red Narrows.

One person airlifted to an area hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. We do not know if anyone else was injured in the crash.

The cause of the crash, and the number of vehicles involved, are unclear at this time. The highway was blocked in both directions for some time following the crash, causing significant delays in the area.
