ST. GEORGE, UT – Seven people were sent to the hospital after a collision on Interstate 15 between mile marker 10 and 16 Saturday, St. George News reported.
The first crash happened before 10:45 a.m. when an SUV lost its tire, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and the SUV to roll over. The force of this collision prompted one juvenile to be thrown from the car, and all occupants were hospitalized at St. George Regional Hospital for unspecified injuries.
The second collision occurred before 5 p.m. when the driver of the white Nissan Versa suffered a medical episode and struck the median barrier on I-15 North. This driver was sent to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
