IRON CO., UT – A single-vehicle crash in Iron County on Thursday morning claimed the life of a 68-year-old man, KSL reports.
Troopers with the Utah Highway Patrol say the unidentified motorcyclist was heading east on SR-20 at a high rate of speed at about 11:25 a.m. when he failed to navigate a curve. The motorcycle skidded off the right side of the roadway and hit a rock, ejecting the rider.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The roadway was closed for several hours while investigators worked the scene. All lanes have nice reopened.
