4 hospitalized after truck driver fell asleep at wheel, causing crash 

VIRGIN, UT – A driver of a Ford F-150 fell asleep behind the wheel and swerved before hitting a Nissan SUV head-on on SR-9 near Virgin, which sent four people to the hospital. 

The crash was reported around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, ABC 4 revealed. One passenger from the Nissan was airlifted to a hospital for treatment of critical, life-threatening injuries, while the other three sustained “non-incapacitating injuries,” which were either lacerations, bloody noses, or bruises. 

The only person who got away unscathed was the F-150 driver.
