3 hurt, 6-year-old boy dead after crash near Green River

GREEN RIVER, UT – A single-vehicle collision near Green River injured three people and claimed the life of a 6-year-old boy Monday. 

The crash happened after 2 p.m. on U.S. Route 6, KSL reported. The driver lost control of the Ford F-150 pickup truck and drifted off course before crashing into an embankment. 

The driver and three passengers were transported to a hospital. One of the occupants – a 6-year-old boy was thrown from the pick-up truck and airlifted to a hospital, where he later succumbed to fatal injuries. 

The driver and two other occupants sustained a mixture of moderate and minor injuries.
