2 killed in road rage crash in Eagle Mountain

EAGLE MOUNTAIN, UT – A road rage episode prompted a three-vehicle collision on State Route 73 that claimed two lives around 1:30 p.m. Sunday. 

The road rage incident between a Nissan Maxima and a Ford F-150 pickup truck led one of the drivers to strike a third vehicle, leading two passengers from the third car to suffer fatal injuries, KUTV reported. 

Both directions of the highway closed and reopened after 5 p.m. 

The Utah County Sheriff’s Office responded to this fatal crash and is investigating other details surrounding this wreck.
