SALT LAKE CITY, UT – Two schoolchildren were hospitalized after crossing the street and getting struck by a truck Friday.
The collision occurred before 7:30 a.m. in the area of 1700 South and 700 East, Gephardt Daily reported.
The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
A crossing guard supervised the children. Both received medical attention at the scene and were taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
