2 hurt, 2 killed in 4-vehicle crash near Deer Creek Reservoir

WASATCH COUNTY, UT – Two lives were claimed in a fiery four-vehicle collision near Deer Creek Reservoir Tuesday. 

The crash took place on U.S. 189, according to KSL. One driver was traveling at high speed when it crossed over to the northbound lanes and collided with an SUV head-on. 

The impact caused one of the cars to catch fire. Two other vehicles were involved, and those drivers sustained minor injuries. 

The drivers from the first vehicles succumbed to fatal injuries. 

U.S. 189 closed for several hours for clean-up and investigation. Delays lingered. All travel lanes have reopened since.
