2 Green River first responders killed in fiery rollover crash

GREEN RIVER, UT – Two off-duty Green River volunteer fire crews were left dead after a fiery rollover crash Sunday. 

The collision occurred in the area of “G Hill” just outside of Green River, KUTV reported. The driver and passenger were traveling on dirt hills when the vehicle lost traction, spiraled downhill, and trapped the two men in the process. The impact caused the truck to catch fire. 

The men were later identified as Shawn O’Keefe and Stephen Mayall, who succumbed to fatal injuries.
