GRANTSVILLE, UT – One woman was sent to the hospital, and another woman lost her life after a two-vehicle wreck on SR-112 before 2 p.m. Wednesday.
According to KSL News Radio, a man was operating a vehicle with an attached automobile on eastbound SR-112. A woman was in that attached automobile when, for reasons unclear, the vehicle hit another car in the westbound lanes.
The woman in the attached automobile, who was only identified as an “elderly woman,” succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene. The man operating that vehicle — her husband — was unharmed.
The driver of the other vehicle — an unidentified woman — was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.
Impairment was not a contributing factor in this deadly crash. It is unclear if speed played a role in this collision.
