1 killed in semi-truck, minivan wrong-way crash near Moab 

MOAB, UT – A driver of a minivan was killed after hitting a semi-truck head-on while driving south on northbound State Route 191 around 4:30 p.m. Thursday. 

This fatal wreck happened in a construction zone adjacent to the Needles Overlook exit, KSL reported. 

Impairment was ruled out as a contributing factor in this crash, so it’s not immediately clear why the minivan driver crossed over into the wrong lanes. The minivan driver’s name has not been released yet. 

The driver of the semi-truck, pulling a trailer, was unharmed.
