1 hurt in SUV, e-bike crash in St. George

ST. GEORGE, UT – An electric bike rider sustained minor injuries – scratches – after he was struck by an SUV operated by a teenage boy with a learner’s permit around 7:30 a.m. Monday.

St. George News said this collision happened at the West Sunset Boulevard & North 1300 West junction along the Olympia Furniture store. The man was riding his folding e-bike when he was hit by the SUV driver making a turn from 1300 West. He was treated at the scene and could walk away from the scene.

The SUV driver – a 15-year-old boy – was unharmed and will be cited for not having an adult driver with him in the car while carrying a learner’s permit.
