ST. GEORGE, UT – A driver of a white Lexus was sent to the hospital when she was T-boned by a black Honda on SR 18 near the Snow Canyon State Park Thursday.
This crash happened after 4 p.m., when the Honda driver was preparing to turn right onto SR 18 from 5745 North, St. George News said. The Honda driver hit his brakes to slow down. He struck them again, but this time, aggressively when they didn’t respond as expected. They locked and he skidded, resulting in him colliding with the Lexus and then about 4 to 5 feet to the right.
The Honda driver and the passenger with him – a woman – were unscathed, while the Lexus driver was sent to an area hospital for either minor or moderate injuries.
Officials cited the Honda motorist for an improper lane change.
