HAMILTON FORT, UT – A 19-year-old man was killed and a woman was sent to the hospital following a head-on collision on Old Highway 91 South Saturday.
According to St. George News, the crash happened after 7:30 a.m. when the driver of the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe – the 19-year-old man – drove south on Old Highway 91 and crossed the center line, colliding with the female driver of the 2013 Ford F150.
The exact cause of this crash is unclear, although impairment and weather conditions have been ruled out as contributing factors.
The 19-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the unidentified woman was transported to the hospital for chest pain and minor injuries.
