1 critically hurt, 1 killed in Murray car, motorcycle crash 

MURRAY, UT – A left turn crash involving a car and a motorcycle at the State Street and 4500 South junction claimed a life and left another in critical condition Sunday. 

The collision happened before 8 p.m. when a motorcycle made a left turn on southbound State Street, went into the path of a northbound car, and crashed into it, according to Fox 13 Now

The driver and occupants of that vehicle were unharmed, while both the motorcycle operator and passenger were hospitalized. The passenger, a woman, suffered critical-life-threatening injuries, and the motorcycle operator, an unidentified man, succumbed to fatal injuries. 

Westbound 4500 South and northbound State Street were closed for clearance and investigation. 

Police have not revealed the names of the victims nor indicated the contributing factors of this fatal wreck.
