1 critically hurt, 1 dead after car, motorcycle crash near Heber City 

HEBER CITY, UT – A 53-year-old woman died and her husband was left with critical-life-threatening injuries after a car and a motorcycle wreck near Heber City. 

KSLTV said this collision occurred at the Utah 32 and Highway 40 West intersection north of Heber City before 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 3rd. Utah Highway Patrol said the driver of a gray Honda had T-boned the motorcycle (in which the woman and her husband were occupants.) 

The couple, Melinda and Jeff Romney, were airlifted to a hospital. Jeff is in critical condition, while Melinda succumbed to fatal injuries a few days later. 

It is unclear what the contributing factors were at this time.
